Conditions we treat include but are not limited to:
Falls and fear of falling in our senior population are recognized public health crises.
According to the CDC, falls are the leading cause of injury-related deaths in older adults by a wide margin. Each year, more than two million seniors experience a fall severe enough to necessitate emergency medical treatment. This number along with the associated personal and societal costs of falling is expected to rise as our population ages. Despite these grim statistics, many falls are preventable with professional interventions that address the causes of falling in older adults.
Our expert clinicians are trained in evidence-based interventions that are proven by controlled clinical trials to effectively reduce the number of falls in older adults.
There are other factors that also contribute to falls. Neurological conditions such as Parkinson's Disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, vestibular disorders, and neuropathy also increase fall risk. Our therapy team is well equipped to address the problems of falling and the fear of falling in individuals living with these conditions.

This place is so fantastic. All of the staff are friendly, courteous and very professional. THIS is how all medical staff need to be trained!!! The ladies in the front are fantastic and very cordial. John is such a blessing with his calm demeanor and vast knowledge of therapeutic recovery information and guidance. The therapists are all so helpful and make this difficult time of recovery such a positive and serene experience. I must especially thank Matt and his "magic" hands, the time he has devoted to me nearly brought tears to my eyes as it was such a relief to my aching arm. I am an employee for an I.P.A. and stand by this review and will ABSOLUTELY recommend Golden Bear Physical Therapy to anyone and everyone. They are BAR NONE!!!

I can’t say enough about this office. From the moment you walk in the smiles of Aprille and Liz even behind those masks are so friendly and welcoming. John has been an amazing piece to my recovery. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about his job. Sam and Ramiro have been so fun to work with. They have such a positive personality and are so attentive to all the patients. This place has a good feel and you leave there wanting to go back. I feel very blessed to have been able to work with all of them and I am very thankful for where John has gotten me in my recovery. Thank you all!
