What Happens When I see the Therapist?
Your therapist will work with you and your child to maximize your child’s mobility, communication, social skills, gross/fine motor skills and/or safety with the goal of maximizing your child’s ability to participate in age-appropriate activities. During this initial evaluation, the therapist will examine your child, discuss findings in detail and provide a mutually agreed upon treatment plan to achieve goals. This treatment plan will include the anticipate length of treatment, along with a discussion of treatment approaches that will be most beneficial to your child. Our highly skilled pediatric therapists will make every effort to make treatment fun and enjoyable for your child!
