Golden Bear Therapy Partners Acquires Northwest Rehabilitation Associates

The wellness group has partnered with the Oregon clinics, adding nationally recognized clinician Mike Studer to their network.

(Salem, Oregon) – Golden Bear Therapy Partners, a rehabilitation company expanding quickly in the United States, acquired Northwest Rehabilitation Associates on November 3rd. The group has four locations in Salem, offering personalized physical therapy care using innovative methods.

NWRA’s former owner, Mike Studer, now serves as a staff therapist, member of the Advisory Board, and partner of GBTP.  Studer is a nationally recognized industry-leading neurological therapist and is an invaluable addition to the Golden Bear team. His partnership with Golden Bear raises the caliber of clinical education and service within the network.

It is an honor to partner with the NWRA clinics,” commented Golden Bear CDO Brandon Ziemann. “As a Fellow of the APTA in the neuro field, Mike demonstrates an excellence in the field that not only resonates in the NWRA clinics but solidifies our vision of clinical excellence for Golden Bear Therapy Partners. NWRA’s strong reputation enhances our regional network of clinics and further provides us the ability to expand throughout Oregon.”

The partnership with NWRA also entails expansion into multiples sites across the Salem market. With Golden Bear’s support, NWRA professionals will be able to focus on providing the highest quality of service, while leaving the backend support to Golden Bear.

“Ultimately, we made the decision to partner with Golden Bear Physical Therapy so that we could expand our successful model and continue to be a highly desirable place to provide and receive care well into the future. As a thirty-plus-year practicing clinician and Fellow of the APTA, I was ready to resume full-time clinical care, without administrative responsibilities. So, it was imperative to me to ensure a cultural match across the practice environment for myself, my colleagues, and our patients – one that would have respect for evidence-based practice and clinical research, while continuing our clinics’ community involvement and professional acumen. “
