Golden Bear has acquired the group of California clinics, adding to its family of wellness brands across the United States.
(Ventura, California) – Golden Bear Therapy Partners, a rehabilitation company with an expansive network of clinics, has acquired Two Trees Therapy & Wellness on July 2, 2020. The brand is comprised of 8 clinics around Ventura, each offering rehabilitation services with different focus areas, such as orthopedic, neurological, pediatric PT, OT, and speech.
According to Golden Bear CDO Brandon Ziemman, the GB team is looking forward to working with this reputable group of rehabilitation centers that offers many different types of patient care.
“We are thrilled to bring on board the Two Trees team and the large multidisciplinary group they created,” commented Ziemman. “Golden Bear and Two Trees share a mission to support physical therapists and their teams in delivering the highest quality patient care and experiences in the communities they serve. Together, we will continue to support the fantastic growth through expanded geographic reach and unparalleled value to support the team.”
As the two companies form their partnership, structural changes have been made to allow for greater collaboration and growth within the company. Two Trees’ former general manager and founder Phil Azer now serves as the VP of Business Development at Golden Bear, while former physical therapist and Two Trees owner Rosanna Kirkendall-Azer now serves as Regional Director of Operations. Their partner and former owner Marc Broberg now serves as the Director of Neurology.
Phil Azer added, “With the tremendous community response and growth we experienced since opening in 2013, we knew it was time to expand our model across the entire County of Ventura and beyond. We found a like-minded partner in Golden Bear to provide the resources and support to supercharge our mission, allow us to focus on what we do best, and be a part of something greater!”
