Following a 9-year career in business, Kris decided she needed to be in a field where she is able to connect with people on a different level. Kris shares, "We don't realize how essential communication and cognitive ability are to our quality of life until it's impaired. The role of caretaker for my grandma and mom as well as being a brain tumor survivor led to my passion as a speech pathologist working with the geriatric population and adults with neurocognitive deficits." Kris' favorite aspect of her work is connecting with patients and families as well as collaborating with Physical and Occupational therapists to provide patients with the best level of care. She is rewarded daily in her work getting to be a part of patients' journeys to improved quality of life.
Outside of work, Kris loves to relax and binge watch TV crime shows with her daughters and husband!
