Ashley earned her Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Medicine and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame where she was an NCAA Soccer student-athlete. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin. In 2016, Ashley joined the GTC team! Today, she is the Director of the GTC Plano Legacy clinic.
Ashley is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy. She loves treating patients with a personalized and multimodal approach and has experience with a variety of treatments including dry needling, blood flow restriction, spinal manipulation, myofascial release, kinesotaping, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, and cupping! Ashley is experienced in pre and post-operative orthopedic injuries with special interest in rotator cuff repairs, ACL repairs, and spinal disorders. Ashley loves treating athletes of any level- from the high school prodigy to the "weekend warrior"!
As a therapist, Ashley believes it is important to not just treat the condition, but treat the patient as a whole to ensure optimal results and patient education to ensure continued results. She shares, "I aim for trust from my patients so I can help them understand their body, tissue healing, and rehab progress so that I can help them reach any goal!"
In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, eating, and playing competitive soccer through North Texas Soccer Association!
