Strength & Conditioning Concepts for Rehabilitation Professionals - Physical Therapists - 16hrs CEUs Jan 11-12, 2025- Tucson, AZ

In an industry where optimally prescribed therapeutic exercise is of the utmost importance for all levels of athletes from the elite level athlete to the deconditioned older adult, we as Physical Therapists, PTAs and other Rehab Professionals can sometimes fall short with higher-level multi-joint (SAID principle) exercises or athlete strength and conditioning.

In this 2-day, 16-hour CEU Course -physical therapy and strength and conditioning course we address the mid to upper-level strength and conditioning techniques that optimize peak performance for all levels of athletes for the older athlete, student-athlete, or professional. These skills and techniques will assist in bringing your athletes to game-ready peak potential performance.

This physical therapy and strength and conditioning course investigates details of many complex movements in an easy-to-understand fashion. These movements affect a variety of musculoskeletal pathologies as well as improve performance. In lab, we will go over in detail the Olympic lifting technique, powerlifting technique, CrossFit movements, kettlebell technique, and much more. We will show how adding knowledge to your repertoire does not just help with athlete population but can be used across the patient spectrum.  Clinicians will have the opportunity during lab sections to spend time developing their ability to cue complex movements as well as learning/performing the movements themselves (Expect a workout or two!)

With the combination of technique, exercises, game planning, periodization, and a better understanding of the athlete’s sports movement and kinesiology, you will feel more comfortable with treating/training even the highest-level athlete. All this and the added benefit of using these same techniques for your own personal training/growth.  Upon completion of this course, clinicians should feel more comfortable meeting athletes where they are in their training as well as providing advanced education/cues for optimizing athletic performance throughout the rehabilitation process.
